Immunogen: NS0-derived, recombinant aminoterminal extracellular domain of human Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein

MOG is an Ig superfamily member found exclusively in myelinating oligodendrocytes in the central nervous system. Multiple isoforms of human MOG exist. The amino-terminal extracellular domain of human MOG shares 92% and 91% amino acid sequence homology with the corresponding regions of the mouse and rat protein, respectively.
